This workshop is part of the Bernoulli Center programme at EPFL, to be held from 16 to 20 November 2026.
This workshop is dedicated to the emerging role of higher-dimensional abelian varieties in post-quantum cryptography. Bringing together experts in arithmetic geometry and cryptography, it will showcase state-of-the-art research, explore open challenges, and foster new collaborations at the interface of mathematics and cryptographic design. Particular emphasis will be placed on recent advances that have made isogeny-based cryptography increasingly competitive, as well as on the development of community software support for higher-dimensional isogenies in Python and SageMath.
