This workshop brings together early career mathematicians and experts in algebraic geometry and combinatorics, working on the intersection of combinatorial Hodge and K-Theory. This is a highly active area of research with important connections to
geometry, number theory, and discrete mathematics, and has recently received major attention with Huh’s Fields Medal for his contributions to combinatorial Hodge theory.
The workshop will be a mixture of two 4 hour lecture series by Omid Amini and Alex Fink, aimed at introducing the younger participants to the main subjects of the workshop, and research talks on the current status of the main themes.
Lecture series:
- Omid Amini (CNRS and l’École Polytechnique): Tropical Homology
- Alex Fink (Queen Mary University of London): K-theory in Combinatorics
Confirmed speakers:
- Ana Maria Botero (Regensburg)
- Lucie Devey (Grenoble, Frankfurt)
- Luis Ferroni (KTH)
- Andreas Gross (Frankfurt)
- Milena Hering (Edinburgh)
- Katharina Jochemko (KTH)
